Lothouse Colliery Nature Park

How lovely it is to hear the positive comments that have been said about the way the park is looking at the moment. Local residents have expressed their appreciation of the Kissing Gates, fences and the black gates at the entrance of the pond. These latest additions to the park , not only enhance the look of the area but keep out the motorcyclists and horse riders who churn up the paths around the pond.
It has also been noted by members of the local community, that the park is used more by cyclists, dog walkers and families - which was the intention of the group.
A lot of hard work and time over the last two years has been put into the park by the volunteers and it's great to see the benefits that the local community can now enjoy.
