LCAG are a group of people who have joined together for a common purpose - to support Lofthouse Colliery Nature Park.
The group have identified that people do care about the Community they live in, are concerned about the future and want to get involved not just for themselves but to benefit everyone.
Their focus is on development of the 33.5 hectares of Open Space which is the site of the former Lofthouse Colliery at Wakefield, West Yorkshire, WF3, near to the Wakefield 41 Industrial Estate and Outwood Railway Station. The land is owned by Wakefield MDC and is used for Leisure and Recreation. Lofthouse Colliery Nature Park includes a Sports Field containing Football Pitches and a biodiverse Nature Area with Pond feature and circular walks and routed pathways.
